Posthumous portrait of Emperor Franz Joseph I - historical postcard

Original period postcard depicting a posthumous portrait of Franz Joseph I, Austrian Emperor and King of Hungary. On the front of the postcard is a black and white photograph of the monarch lying in a funeral bed, with the inscription Die Aufbahrung des Kaisers Franz Josef in Schönbrunn. The back is blank, with a place for the address and stamp, at the bottom the publisher's name (Aufnahme R. Lechner, Wien). The postcard is in very good condition commensurate with its age, worthy of collector's attention. Suitable for those interested in the monarchy, the history of Austria-Hungary and collectors of historical postcards.
