Original old postcard depicting Prague's Wenceslas Square with the equestrian statue of St. Wenceslas, trams, period cars and busy traffic in historic Prague. Photographic postcard bearing a round stamp and a Czechoslovakian postage stamp, sent in 1954. On the back is legibly handwritten text. The postcard is a valuable historical document both in terms of the architecture depicted and the realities of everyday life in post-war Prague. Condition is consistent with age, slight wear to the corners. A great collector's item for lovers of old Prague and historic postcards.
