Historical postcard – President in front of the Old Town Hall, First Republic
Original historical postcard from the period of the First Republic. The picture shows a ceremonial event in front of the Old Town Hall in Prague - a state ceremony attended by the President of the Republic, soldiers and the general public. The President, the First Lady and important representatives of the army and public life are standing on the honorary tribune. In the foreground, the handing over or paying of homage with the state banner can be seen. The back is described in a period handwriting and provided with two Czechoslovak postage stamps with a portrait of the President, addressed to České Budějovice. This is a very interesting collector's item with great historical value, suitable for postcard collectors and lovers of Czech history.
