Ethnography postcard – Fish seller, J. Wagner, salon motif

Older postcard with a fish seller motif by J. Wagner, original title Fish Seller (German: Fischerhändlerin, French: La vendeuse de poissons). The postcard depicts a woman in traditional costume working with a fish in her hand, standing at a wooden table. The artistic postcard bears the hallmarks of salon art from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The front side is in color, the back side is unlabeled, with printed information about the author and publisher. Excellent collector's condition, suitable for a collection of ethnographic and artistic postcards.
