An old postcard with an ethnographic motif, depicting a woman in a traditional folk costume. On the front is a beautifully executed illustration of a girl with an Easter egg in her hand, referring to traditional Czech Easter customs. The postcard has been sent, on the back is a postage stamp from the Czechoslovakian period and a handwritten Easter greeting addressed to a lady in Smiřice. This is an artistic postcard designed by the academic painter Krosa, published by J. Procházka, Brno. Collection condition, slight wear consistent with age. Ideal for collectors of ethnography, folk costumes and Easter motifs.
