Older postcard with a motif from the opera The Bartered Bride. It depicts a young couple in traditional Czech folk costumes in a romantic embrace. The postcard is in beautiful color, on the back there is a printed text with the title The Bartered Bride and a short poem dedicated to faithful love. The postcard bears the usual signs of age (yellowing, minor abrasions on the edges), otherwise in very good condition. An ideal collector's item for lovers of Czech traditions, opera or historical postcards.
