Old ethnographic postcard - Czech costume, countryside, circa 1910

Original old postcard with ethnographic motif: Woman and child in festive costumes sitting in a meadow, in the background another group of women and children in costumes. The image is richly colored and captures the atmosphere of rural life and traditions. On the back there is a handwritten message, an old postage stamp and an address to Miss Mařence Hošková to Sedliště near Český Brod. Publisher: Josef Pitner, bookseller in Kroměříž. The postcard has noticeable signs of age and wear on the edges and corners, a larger water stain in the upper corner. A unique collector's item showing Czech folklore and traditional clothing, suitable for a collection.
