Old postcard – folk costumes, J. Jáchym, circa 1918, Austria-Hungary
I am offering an original old postcard with an ethnographic motif. The front side shows a kiss between two girls in rich folk costumes, with a strong emphasis on the details of embroidery, accessories and flower wreaths. The postcard is painted, its author is probably J. Jáchym (indicated J. Jáchym pinx ). The back side contains an old handwritten text, address and stamp from the Austro-Hungarian period (postmark approx. 1918, value 10 heller). A great collector's item that brings together period traditions, folk costumes and customs. The condition corresponds to its age, see photo. Suitable for collectors of postcards with folklore and ethnographic themes.
The text description is for guidance only and may not always be 100% accurate - what you see in the photos is what matters.
