Old ethnographic postcards – Czech folk costume, 1957, postmarked

Original old postcard with ethnographic motif - painted scene of rural life depicting traditional folk costume. The postcard shows a young man in costume, a woman and a small child in her arms in front of a rural building. The postcard is postmarked with a Czechoslovak stamp (40 h - dog), postmarked Prague 1957, addressed to Lensedel. In nice collector's condition, the front side bears the signature of the painter Jan Ším. A very nice example of period ethnography suitable for a collection.
