Postcard – Czech Costume, Ján Hála, 1953, ethnographic motif

Older postcard with an ethnographic motif – Czech folk costume. On the front side there is a color illustration of a man and a woman in traditional folk costume, in the background a rural scenery with a church. The author of the illustration is the acad. painter Ján Hála, the postcard was published around the middle of the 20th century. The postcard was sent by post in 1953 and is in good condition, corresponding to its age – small dents, slight wear on the corners. The back side contains a stamp and a handwritten message. A very nice and interesting collector's item with a thematic focus on the folk culture of the Czech Republic.
