Postcard Liberation of Wenceslas Square Prague, World War II

Original historical postcard depicting the liberation of Wenceslas Square in Prague. On the front side is a period black and white photograph with a tank and soldiers being welcomed by the civilian population. The postcard beautifully illustrates the atmosphere of the liberation of Prague at the end of World War II. On the back side is printed Liberated Wenceslas Square. The format of the postcard is small, the age corresponds to the period up to 1950. This is an interesting collector's item with a patina of time, which is visible on the edges and surface of the postcard.
