Historical postcard depicting the liberated Wenceslas Square in Prague. Black and white photograph from the end of World War II, probably 1945, when liberation tanks were passing through the streets and people were welcoming the troops. The postcard has a classic layout on the back for the address and text, in the upper left corner is the text Osvobozené Wenceslas Square. Excellent period documentation of the atmosphere of Prague during the liberation. Nicely preserved condition, suitable for collectors of historical postcards or those interested in the history of the 20th century.
