Postcard of President Edvard Beneš on Old Town Square

Original black and white postcard depicting President Dr. Edvard Beneš with his wife at a ceremonial occasion on the Old Town Square in Prague. The photograph was taken before 1950 and beautifully illustrates the atmosphere of the period with the presence of important public figures including military and political representatives. The postcard is unposted, in very good collector's condition. A great addition to a collection of historical postcards from the first half of the 20th century, focused on Czech politics and the history of Czechoslovakia.
