Postcard May 1945 Slavic Brotherhood – historical, USSR in Czechoslovakia

Original historical postcard from May 1945 titled Slavic Brotherhood. The postcard depicts a soldier in uniform (probably an airman) hugging a child in a national costume – a strong symbol of friendship and understanding between Slavic nations at the end of World War II. The postcard is typical for its small format, has signs of age, the corners are slightly bent (see photo). On the reverse is the printed description May 1945. Slavic Brotherhood. and the publisher's mark Memorial Postcards of the Union of Friends of the USSR in Czechoslovakia. A very rare and collector's item.
