Historical black and white postcard depicting the arrival of the Red Army to Wenceslas Square in Prague at the end of World War II. The postcard shows the famous monument of St. Wenceslas, the surrounding buildings and a street full of people and vehicles. On the right, damage to the buildings caused by bombing or fighting is visible. On the back of the postcard is a printed description: Arrival of the Red Army to Wenceslas Square. The postcard is not filled in or stamped. An excellent collector's item documenting one of the key moments in Czech history. Condition is consistent with its age, see scan.
