Emmaus Monastery Prague after the bombing of 1945 – historical postcard
Historical postcard depicting the Emmaus Church in Prague after the bombing on February 14, 1945. The postcard dates from the period shortly after World War II and depicts the destruction and damage of one of the important Prague monuments. This postcard was issued by the Society for the Reconstruction of Emmaus in Prague under the auspices of the President of the Republic, Dr. Edvard Beneš. Small format, on the reverse side there is a field for a stamp and address, with a description in Czech. The postcard is in very nice collector's condition, suitable for lovers of historical Prague and collectors of postcards from the Second World War.
