Original period postcard issued to commemorate the liberation in May 1945. The postcard bears the inscription MAY 1945. You dead, we will not forget! and was issued by the Union of Friends of the USSR in Czechoslovakia. The front side depicts a memorial service at a monument with a red star and an army soldier, which refers to the memory of fallen soldiers and liberators.
