New Year's postcard to Vienna, Czech Republic, handwritten, before 1950

Old New Year's postcard with Christmas tree decor and red ribbon. On the front side is the English inscription New Year Greetings, A glad New Year I wish dear friend to you , the card is finely textured, the format is smaller than standard newer postcards. On the back side you will find a handwritten wish in Czech addressed to Vienna, Austria (to the Balihar family). The postcard was probably sent between 1910-1920, based on the style and price of postage (1 cent, USA) and the stamp. This is a beautiful example of old mail with international reach, suitable for a collection of historical postcards or as inspiration for lovers of old greeting cards.
