Old black and white view from the Šumava region, with the caption Šumava: Evening is falling over Javor near Železná Ruda. Published by the Czechoslovak Tourists' Club, publisher Joža Pospíchal, bookseller in Sušice na Šumava. The postcard shows the silhouette of Mount Javor at sunset, the view is set in a calm evening atmosphere. The postcard is postmarked, with a 50-haller stamp with a portrait of Tomáš G. Masaryk and additional letter and address to Prague. On the back there is a handwritten message. The overall condition of the postcard corresponds to its age - minor signs of use, light wear to the edges.
