Old postcard by Jož Uprka – Children in traditional costumes, ethnographic motif
I am offering an old postcard with an ethnographic motif, which depicts a group of children in traditional costumes dancing in a meadow (painter Joža Uprka). The postcard bears typical features of the early 20th century and is an interesting document of folk life, folklore and costumes in the Czech/Slovak countryside. On the back you will find the inscription DOPISNICE and information about the publisher (Rudolf Fenc in Hodonín). The postcard has minor signs of wear along the edges, consistent with its age. A great collector's item for lovers of old postcards, folklore and ethnographic motifs.
