Easter postcard – ethnographic motif, folk costumes, 1943
Old Easter postcard with ethnographic motif. The postcard depicts a traditional Easter scene with characters in folk costumes, probably from the region of Moravia or Slovakia. On the front side there is a color illustration of a young man and two girls in folk costumes, in the middle an egg decorated with traditional technique. On the left is the inscription Happy Easter! . The back side contains a handwritten message, address and a stamp of the German Empire (dated 1943, postmark Prague). A unique postcard over 80 years old, suitable for collectors of ethnographic postcards or as a gift for Easter.
