Postcard by Jož Uprek – Bride from Vlčnov, ethnography, folk
I am offering an original postcard with a bride motif inspired by Czech folklore, authored by the famous painter Joža Uprka. This is a postcard from the series Bride from Vlčnov (tying a scarf), which beautifully captures the traditional folk costume and the atmosphere of the Moravian countryside. The postcard is described on the reverse, has been mailed and is provided with the original Czechoslovakia postage stamp worth 15 haller. This is a very interesting collector's item from the first half of the 20th century, suitable for a collection of ethnographic and folklore postcards. The condition corresponds to its age, see photos.
