Joža Uprka – Plečky, old postcard, ethnography, folk costume
I am offering an old postcard with an ethnographic motif by the famous Czech painter Jože Uprka, entitled Plečky. The postcard depicts a group of women in folk costume on a blooming meadow, a typical rural scene from Moravia at the beginning of the 20th century. Beautiful colors, well-preserved condition corresponding to its age (see photo), published by the publisher Jindř. Plichta, Prague I. - 321, postcard number JPP 716. Suitable for a collection or as a gift for lovers of folklore and history. The postcard is unwritten, only minor traces of age on the back.
The text description is for guidance only and may not always be 100% accurate - what you see in the photos is what matters.
