I am offering an old postcard with a reproduction of a painting by Josef Navrátil (1798–1865), a prominent Czech painter. The postcard has a motif of a rural scene, which depicts a woman in folk costume with a child in a picturesque setting. The postcard has been used, has been mailed, and is stamped with a stamp from the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. On the back there is a stamp and handwritten text addressed to Boskov. One edge has slight wear, the overall condition corresponds to the age of the postcard. An exceptional collector's item connecting fine art and historical correspondence.
