Trenčín and surroundings - collector's postcard, Slovakia motifs, collage, 1970s

The original postcard with the theme of Trenčín and its surroundings captures several typical motifs from this Slovak region. The front side shows a collage of photographs, including Trenčín Castle, local folk costume, Opatovská Valley and motels around Trenčín. On the back side there is a handwritten greeting and a 50-haller Czechoslovak postage stamp, which illustrates the atmosphere of the period. The postcard was published by the Pravda publishing house in Bratislava and the authors of the photographs are Ľudovít Absolon, Milan Šmátrala, Zoltán Absolon and Ľuba Chriašteľová.
