Postcard Piešťany – spa, Thermia Palace, statue breaking a crutch
Original postcard titled Greetings from Piešťany from the former Czechoslovakia. The postcard depicts various views of the famous Slovak spa town of Piešťany. On the front side are photographs of the spa area with a fountain, the Thermia Palace hotel, the swimming pool and the famous statue of a man breaking a crutch, the symbol of the Piešťany spa. The back side is hand-written and franked with an original Slovak stamp from the Czechoslovakian Socialist Republic period (value 50 haller). Suitable for collectors of historical postcards or those interested in Slovak and Czechoslovak history. Condition see photo, corners slightly worn, overall in good condition.
