Postcard Dolný Kubín, Severan Hotel – 1980s, sent

Original old postcard depicting the town of Dolný Kubín in Slovakia, probably issued in the 1980s. On the front side there are color photographs of panel buildings by the river, a view of the town with the surrounding mountains, modernist buildings, including the Severan Hotel and the post office. The postcard was sent - postmark, Czechoslovak Socialist Republic stamp and handwritten text addressed to Prague. The back side bears a stamp and a clear stamp, a handwritten message. Photos: E. Čeňková, V. Medzinárodská. Condition consistent with age, slight wear to edges and corners. An attractive collector's item documenting architecture and life during the socialist period.
