Historical postcard of Polička – birthplace of Bohuslav Martinů
Original postcard from the city of Polička, an industrial city in East Bohemia, birthplace of composer Bohuslav Martinů. On the front side there are several shots of the city: the church of St. James, a panorama with the city walls and a museum exhibition, including a bust of B. Martinů. The back side is stamped with a postage stamp with a portrait of Martin Benka and a handwritten greeting. Issued by Ivan Tichý (TZP-B). The postcard is in good condition with signs of normal wear and tear commensurate with its age. A great collector's item for lovers of historical postcards from the Czech Republic.
