Postcard Exposition Universelle Paris 1900 – pavilions, stamp, sent
Original historical postcard from 1900, issued on the occasion of the World Exhibition Exposition Universelle in Paris. The postcard depicts the pavilions of individual countries that were built around the Seine River and the view is from the Alma Bridge (Pont de l Alma). The postcard shows a period postage stamp and stamps from Paris and Pilsen, which proves its actual use at the time. This is a beautiful collector's item documenting the atmosphere of the World Exhibition at the turn of the century. The condition is consistent with its age, with normal signs of wear, dirt in places and minor signs of use. The back of the postcard is described by the addressee and is provided with stamps and a stamp.
