Postcard France - Versailles, Fountain of Neptune, circa 1920

An antique postcard from the first half of the 20th century, depicting the famous Neptune Fountain and the Great Fountains in the gardens of the Palace of Versailles (Parc de Versailles, Le Bassin de Neptune et les Grandes Eaux). The front of the postcard features a black and white image of the fountain surrounded by visitors, typical of historic postcards of French landmarks. The back is handwritten and has an address to Prague, a stamp and remnants of the original stamp. The postcard has damage to the corners, which however adds to its authenticity and collector's value. A great piece for history lovers, France and collectors of postcards with views of famous European landmarks.
