Original historical postcard with a panoramic view of the French city of Lyon, taken from the Tour Métallique de Fourvière elevator. The hand-colored postcard depicts the Rhône River with bridges and important city buildings of Lyon, including the cathedral. On the front side there is a text in French: Vue panoramique prise de l Ascenseur de la Tour Métallique de Fourvière . The back of the postcard is blank, with the inscription Carte Postale and pre-printed boxes for the address and message. A great collector's item in preserved condition. The dimensions correspond to the classic postcard format from the early 20th century.
