Old postcard - Paris, Dôme des Invalides
I am offering an old postcard depicting the famous Dôme des Invalides in Paris, one of the most important architectural symbols of the French metropolis. The postcard bears a detailed black and white print of the building, which was built by architect Jules Hardouin-Mansart in 1706. On the right margin there is a short description of the significance of the place in French. The back of the postcard is blank, with a typical layout for the address and message, including a period stamp of the Society of Friends of the Museum. Very nice condition, suitable for collectors of historical European postcards or lovers of French architecture.
The text description is for guidance only and may not always be 100% accurate - what you see in the photos is what matters.
