Historical postcard from Germany from the end of the 19th century, sent in 1899 from Vienna to Cieszyn (now the Czech Republic). The front side depicts an allegorical female figure with a shield and sword, accompanied by a German flag and an eagle. The postcard bears a patriotic inscription in German and is hand-written in period script. The back side is stamped with a period stamp worth 2 Kreuzer, with postmarks from Vienna and Cieszyn. A collector's item suitable for history and philocard lovers. Good condition, age evident.
