Postcard Bad Schandau 1897, Germany – postcard, stamp, postmark

An old postcard with the motif of the city of Bad Schandau in Saxony (Germany), sent in 1897. On the front side we find several cartoon views - a panorama of the city on the Elbe River, typical spa buildings and tourist destinations in the area. The rich decoration is complemented by a group of people in traditional clothing. The back side contains the original text, address and a German stamp with a postmark from the period of the German Empire. A very nice historical collector's item suitable for a collection of old European postcards.
