Bad Wörishofen 1896 – German lithographic postcard
Original historical postcard from the German town of Bad Wörishofen, sent in 1896. The front side has a richly graphic collage motif of town buildings, spas and the famous personality Pfarrer Kneipp, who is associated with the town. The edge is decorated with a floral decoration, a stylish example of period aesthetics. The reverse side is stamped and has been mailed, and there is an original Bavarian stamp worth 5 pfennig. The postcard is addressed to Čáslav in Bohemia. Overall excellent condition with a subtle patina of age, an exceptional collector's item documenting spa life in Germany at the end of the 19th century.
