Postcard Germany - Potsdam Neues Palais, sent 1963

Original black and white postcard with the motif of the New Palace (Neues Palais) in Potsdam, Germany. This is an architecturally significant Baroque monument that was built in 1763–1769 during the reign of Frederick II. The postcard was actually sent and on the back it bears a stamp and a handwritten message in German. The stamp bears the date 10.8.63. The postcard is in very good condition, the corners are slightly frayed, consistent with its age. A great collector's item for a collection of German postcards or historical monuments.
