Goethe's House in Frankfurt – historical postcard 1908, Germany

A historical postcard from Germany, specifically from Frankfurt am Main. The obverse depicts the famous Goethe House (Goethehaus), the birthplace of the German poet Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. In the upper left corner is a portrait of Goethe himself. The postcard was printed in 1908 by the publishing house Dr. Trenkler Co., Leipzig. On the reverse side you will find handwritten writing, a stamp and a stamp from the period of the German Empire. The postcard is addressed to Týnec nad Labem (formerly Austria-Hungary, today the Czech Republic). A great collector's item documenting German history and architecture of the early 20th century.
