Postcard Köthen (Anhalt) 1967 – housing estate, sent to the Czechoslovakia

Original postcard from the city of Köthen (Anhalt), depicting the new construction of city apartment buildings in the 1960s. The front side shows the streets An der Rüsterbreite, Franz-Mehring-Straße and Hohenköthenerstraße. The postcard was sent to Czechoslovakia in 1967 and is stamped with a German stamp and postmark. The back side contains a handwritten greeting with a clearly legible date and recipient's address. The postcard is in good condition, with no significant damage, only minor signs of wear consistent with its age. A great collector's item documenting post-war architecture and everyday life in the GDR.
