Postcard Spreewald (GDR) – folk architecture, costumes, 1978
I am offering an original postcard from the Spreewald (Blóta) in the former GDR (German Democratic Republic). On the front side there is a color photograph of a traditional house with a thatched roof, in front of which there is a group of women in folk costumes, and a traditional boat on a canal typical of this area. The postcard was sent in 1978 and bears a postage stamp and a postmark from the city of Lübben (Lubin). On the back side there is a handwritten greeting addressed to Czechoslovakia. This is a very nice collector's item documenting the folk architecture and traditions of the Spreewald.
The text description is for guidance only and may not always be 100% accurate - what you see in the photos is what matters.
