Munich Central Station – postcard, 1950s–1960s

The postcard depicts the main train station in Munich (München Hauptbahnhof). The photo shows a modern station building with a busy forecourt full of cars and pedestrians. The main station building is typical of its mid-20th century architectural concept, so the postcard captures the atmosphere of the then transport hub well. This is an original color postcard, which was published by the Fritz Witzig publishing house in Munich (No. 18). The back is unwritten, with the inscription München - Hauptbahnhof / Munich - Station . Very good condition, an interesting collector's item.
