Postcard Czech Republic 1946 – drawing of a village, sent 1951, Kalvoda

Original historical postcard from 1946, depicting a drawing of a village scene with trees, a church and the surrounding landscape. The postcard was sent from Malé Svatoňovice and contains handwritten and typewritten messages dated December 6, 1951. On the address side there is a period Czechoslovak stamp and the addressee in Poniklá u Jilemnice. The postcard is interesting not only for its artistic treatment by K. Kalvoda, but also for its authentic period text. Condition appropriate to its age, small stains and slight wear.
