Častolovice nad Orlicí flood 1926 – chateau, small format
Old original view of Častolovice nad Orlicí – flood at the castle from June 15, 1926. The postcard depicts flooding around the castle, where two figures of men stand in water almost up to their knees. On the back is a handwritten message, a stamp of the village of Častolovice, addressed to Karlovy Vary. A great documentary image of regional history, suitable for collectors of historical postcards or those interested in the history of Czech towns and natural disasters. The condition is consistent with its age – see photo. A wonderful document of a period event.
The text description is for guidance only and may not always be 100% accurate - what you see in the photos is what matters.
