Karlovy Vary - Spa promenade at the Mill Spring, postcard 1912
Original historical postcard from the Austro-Hungarian period, sent in 1912 from Karlovy Vary (Karlsbad). The postcard depicts the famous promenade in front of the Mill Colonnade (Führpromenade am Mühlbrunnen), typical of the early 20th century. The color lithograph with a large number of figures in period clothing offers an interesting glimpse into the atmosphere of the spa town of that time. On the front side, the inscription Karlsbad and text in German, the postcard was published by Ledermann & Popper, Prague. The back side with original postmarks, stamp and handwritten text. Very nice collector's condition, suitable for thematic collections focused on spas, architecture and history of the Czech Republic.
The text description is for guidance only and may not always be 100% accurate - what you see in the photos is what matters.
