Original historical postcard depicting the panorama of the Swiss city of Basel with the bridge over the Rhine River and the majestic Alps in the background. The postcard is hand-colored, very detailed, captures the architecture of the city and the beauty of the Swiss landscape of the early 20th century. Publisher W. Frey, Basel, number 1019. On the back there is a Czech manuscript, a stamp and a Swiss stamp Helvetia 25 (used circa 1921). An excellent collector's item for lovers of historical postcards from Europe, especially Switzerland. Condition according to scan, signs of age on the edges.
