The postcard is in black and white and on the front side offers a collage of famous landmarks and scenery of this picturesque city - including the Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke), the Lion Monument and the panorama of the Alps in the background. There is a fountain in the lower left and in several images also boats on Lake Lucerne. The back of the postcard is unwritten and clean, with only a preprint for the address and stamp.
