The original postcard depicts the well-known natural scenery of the Dunajec River in the Pieniny region, which is characterized by its rocky limestone peaks and picturesque forests. In the foreground, a group of people on traditional rafts are depicted while sailing on the river, which is a typical attraction of the Pieniny National Park on the Slovak-Polish border. The postcard has a pronounced relief of the landscape and tree-covered banks. The postcard was issued in Czechoslovakia and bears the text PIENINY – DUNAJEC.
