Trondheim, Nidarosdomen – St. Olaf, historical postcard
The postcard depicts a detail of the sculptural decoration of the Nidarosdomen Cathedral in Trondheim (Trondheims Domkirke), specifically the figure of Saint Olaf (St. Olav), which is located in the so-called Eastern Octagonal Chapel (Østre oktogonkapel). The author of the sculpture is G. Vigeland. The postcard is black and white and bears an inscription in Norwegian indicating the place and the author of the sculpture. The back of the postcard is blank and has a standard layout for the address and message. Ideal for collectors of postcards with motifs of important European monuments and church buildings.
