Postcard Egypt - Mastaba Itet, geese and boatmen, Egyptian Museum Cairo
Original postcard from the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, depicting two famous paintings from the ancient Egyptian period. The upper part of the postcard depicts a relief with the motif of a boatmen's fight on the Nile - a colorful battle scene from the Old Kingdom. The lower part belongs to the famous frieze with six geese from the Itet mastaba in Medum, one of the icons of ancient Egyptian art. Described in several languages including English, German and French. On the back is a basic description and information about the publisher (Heliopolis, Egypt). Excellent condition, a great collector's item for history and Egyptology lovers.
