Postcard Great Britain – Coopers at work, painter Malcolm Greensmith
Original postcard from Great Britain with an illustration of coopers making barrels by British painter Malcolm Greensmith. On the front side is a detailed color drawing of three men working on wooden barrels in a traditional workshop. On the back is a handwritten message, addressed to Czechoslovakia to Mr. Petr Šimek, dated Christmas, with original English text. The postcard is issued by J. Arthur Dixon, COUNTRY CRAFTS series, number PCK 25411, and bears signs of normal circulation with all period details. This is an attractive collector's item documenting traditional craftsmanship and international correspondence from the late 20th century.
