An old art postcard with a theme based on a painting by Ph. H. Calderon. The front side depicts a dramatic scene in an interior with a figure of a kneeling naked woman at the altar, in the presence of several people in black clothes. This is a postcard with the title Renewal of the Vow / Entsagung / Renunciation. Issued around the beginning of the 20th century, UP gallery no. 1017. The back side is unwritten, only with a print and information about the painting in several languages. The postcard is black and white, in good condition with minor signs of age and wear, corners slightly frayed. Suitable for collectors of historical and art postcards.
